The dendrimer-based targeted therapeutics technology is designed to operate as a plug-and-play system that is adaptable and readily customized by attaching disease specific targeting vectors and therapeutic or diagnostic imaging agents to the dendrimer using a variety of different linkers selected. Based upon the flexibility of the dendrimer platform and the ease with which its surface can be modified by various targeting vectors, drugs, imaging agents, targeting vectors, Avidimer expects to file one IND approximately every 18 months. |
